Even footprints center between blocks; odd footprints use one center block. Mixed oval footprints use a center line on only one axis.

Layer-by-layer sphere workflow

  1. Set the diameter and choose hollow or solid mode.
  2. Use the layer slider to inspect the starting layer.
  3. Build the current layer from row segments, then advance one layer.
  4. Export selected layer ranges when the full sphere is too large for one session.

FAQ

What is previous-layer ghosting?

It lightly shows the neighboring layer so you can compare how the shell changes as you build upward or downward.

When should I use selected-range CSV?

Use it when a large sphere is easier to split into sessions, such as layers 1–10 today and 11–20 later.

Does shell thickness affect block count?

Yes. Hollow shells with thicker walls include more blocks than a one-block shell.
