Builder mode notes

Use layer navigation for spheres and domes, row highlighting for the current layer, and copy the current row when you want a small step-by-step instruction instead of a full table.

Odd diameters have a single center block. Even diameters place the center between blocks, so the highlighted axes and bounds should be followed instead of guessing from a screenshot.

How this tool helps

Use the grid while building, copy the row or layer data, and export a PNG, SVG, CSV, or print view for offline reference. The blueprint and tables are generated from the same geometry result, so counts and row segments stay synchronized.

FAQ

Is BlockLayer an official Minecraft tool?

No. BlockLayer is an independent Minecraft-style block blueprint tool and is not associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

Does the sphere generator reuse a circle generator?

No. Sphere and dome layers are generated from 3D voxel inclusion tests, then shown as layer-by-layer 2D blueprints.

Can I export Litematica, NBT, or structure files?

No. MVP exports PNG, SVG, CSV, print output, row lists, layer summaries, and share links only.

Why do even diameters look centered between blocks?

Even dimensions do not have one center block. The center falls between blocks, so the blueprint warns about even-center alignment.
